Product Description
The PennEngineering® (PEM®) CLS-M10-2 is a heavy-duty self-clinching nut designed to establish reliable, permanent load-bearing threads in thin sheet metal. Formed from premium 300 Series Stainless Steel, this fastener exhibits exceptional corrosion resistance and is perfectly suited for high-performance applications in automotive electronics, consumer hardware, and medical enclosures. When placed into a properly sized metric hole and integrated via parallel squeezing force, the host panel material cold flows seamlessly into the nut's special undercut, making the fastener an integral part of the sheet. A engineered serrated clinching ring completely locks the nut into position, ensuring maximum pushout and torque-out resistance so that the thread remains firmly anchored under intense physical stress.
High Pushout and Torque-Out Resistance Delivers excellent structural holding capability, remaining permanently anchored in the host metal under rigorous operational loads. Serrated Clinching Ring Grips the panel material completely to stop rotation or shifting during final assembly or servicing.
300 Series Stainless Steel Composition Offers superb corrosion defense and durability, satisfying demanding or clean environment specifications.
Undercut Panel Interlock Captures the displaced panel material through an exact parallel squeeze, creating a uniform mechanical integration without needing welds.
