The PennEngineering® (PEM®) CLS-M2-0 is a high-precision self-clinching nut designed to provide strong, permanent load-bearing threads in ultra-thin sheet metals. Fabricated from high-quality 300 Series Stainless Steel, this miniature fastener delivers robust corrosion resistance and excellent performance longevity across compact electronics, medical devices, and aerospace enclosures. When pressed into a properly sized hole using a parallel squeezing force, the sheet metal cold flows smoothly around the fastener's special undercut, making the nut an integral part of the sheet.Equipped with a specialized serrated clinching ring, the nut is securely locked into position to provide high pushout and torque-out resistance, ensuring complete stability during final product assembly.
